TradeBuilt USA respects your privacy. TradeBuilt was designed to operate without requiring you to provide personal information to TradeBuilt USA.

The Short Version

TradeBuilt does not require an account and does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, share, or use your personal information for advertising or tracking.

TradeBuilt does not contain advertising networks, third-party analytics services, or tracking technologies designed to monitor your activity across apps, websites, or services.

The app’s calculations and reference tools operate locally on your device.

Information TradeBuilt Collects

TradeBuilt USA does not directly collect personal information through the TradeBuilt app.

TradeBuilt does not ask you to provide your:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Mailing address
• Precise location
• Contacts
• Photos
• Payment card information
• Device advertising identifier

TradeBuilt does not require a TradeBuilt account or user profile.

Calculation Inputs and Readings

Values and measurements you enter into TradeBuilt tools are used to perform calculations on your device.

TradeBuilt does not transmit those inputs or results to TradeBuilt USA.

Values you enter may remain temporarily available in the app’s memory so that information remains present when navigating between screens during use. These values are not intentionally stored by TradeBuilt as a permanent history of your calculations.

TradeBuilt USA does not receive or have access to those readings through the app.

Information Stored on Your Device

TradeBuilt stores limited information locally on your device so that app features and preferences function correctly.

This may include:

• Important notice and caution card preferences.
• Purchase or unlock status used to remember that access to paid features has been unlocked.
• Tools and refrigerants that you choose to pin or favorite.
• A local calculation count used to determine when the app may request an App Store rating. This count is not used to create a user profile or track your activity and is no longer needed by the app after the rating request condition has been satisfied.
• A record of the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy versions you have accepted, together with the date of acceptance.

This information is stored locally by the app and is not transmitted to TradeBuilt USA.

Purchases

Purchases and downloads are processed by Apple through the App Store.

TradeBuilt may communicate with Apple’s systems as necessary to determine the status of an in-app purchase, restore a purchase, or provide access to purchased features.

TradeBuilt USA does not receive your payment card information through the TradeBuilt app.

Apple processes information associated with your Apple Account, App Store activity, and transactions according to Apple’s own terms and privacy policies.

TradeBuilt USA does not control Apple’s collection, processing, retention, or use of information.

Analytics and Tracking

TradeBuilt does not include third-party advertising networks or third-party analytics SDKs for monitoring your use of the app.

TradeBuilt USA does not use information from TradeBuilt to track you across applications, websites, or services owned by other companies.

TradeBuilt does not sell personal information.

TradeBuilt does not use personal information for targeted or behavioral advertising.

Apple Diagnostics

Apple may collect diagnostic, performance, crash, and usage information from your device according to your device settings and Apple’s policies.

Depending on the settings associated with your device and Apple’s developer services, Apple may make certain diagnostic or crash information available to TradeBuilt USA.

Information provided through Apple’s diagnostic systems is controlled and processed by Apple according to Apple’s applicable policies and services.

You can review applicable analytics and diagnostic sharing settings under the Privacy & Security settings on your Apple device.

Third-Party Services

TradeBuilt does not integrate third-party advertising networks or third-party analytics SDKs.

TradeBuilt relies on Apple services where necessary for distribution, purchases, purchase verification, restoration of purchases, and other operating-system or App Store functionality.

Your interactions with Apple services are governed by Apple’s applicable terms and privacy policies.

Data Sales and Advertising

TradeBuilt USA does not sell or rent personal information collected through TradeBuilt.

TradeBuilt does not provide user information to advertising networks for targeted advertising.

TradeBuilt contains no third-party advertisements.

Data Retention

Because TradeBuilt USA does not directly receive the locally stored app preferences and tool information described in this policy, TradeBuilt USA does not maintain a server-side account or database containing that information.

Local TradeBuilt data remains subject to the storage and data-management behavior of your device and operating system.

Deleting Local TradeBuilt Data

TradeBuilt does not maintain a TradeBuilt user account containing your tool information or app preferences on TradeBuilt USA servers.

Deleting TradeBuilt from your device removes app data according to Apple’s iOS application and device-storage behavior.

Information independently maintained by Apple, including App Store purchase records or diagnostic information, is controlled by Apple and is not deleted or controlled by TradeBuilt USA.

Children’s Privacy

TradeBuilt is designed as a professional HVACR field tool and is not directed toward children.

TradeBuilt USA does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the TradeBuilt app. Because TradeBuilt does not require an account or request personal information from its users, TradeBuilt USA does not intentionally collect personal information from users based on age.

Security

TradeBuilt is designed to minimize privacy risk by limiting the information it handles and keeping its tools running on the user’s device.

However, no device, operating system, software application, or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their devices, Apple Accounts, passwords, and device access.

Your Privacy Rights

TradeBuilt USA does not maintain TradeBuilt user accounts or a server-side database of the inputs, favorites, preferences, or other locally stored information described in this policy.

Because TradeBuilt USA does not possess that locally stored information, TradeBuilt USA generally cannot access, retrieve, modify, export, or delete it on your behalf.

If you contact TradeBuilt USA directly, information you voluntarily provide through that communication, such as your email address and the contents of your message, may be used to respond to your inquiry.

Legal Requirements

TradeBuilt USA may disclose information actually in its possession when required to do so by applicable law, legal process, court order, or valid governmental request.

This provision does not mean that TradeBuilt collects information described elsewhere in this policy. TradeBuilt USA cannot disclose app data that it does not possess.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

TradeBuilt USA may update this Privacy Policy when TradeBuilt, applicable legal requirements, or privacy practices change.

When this policy is updated, the revised version will be posted with an updated “Last Updated” date.

Continued use of TradeBuilt after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective constitutes acknowledgment of the updated policy to the extent permitted by applicable law.
